Manchester United vs Liverpool FC 13:00GMT

Manchester United v Liverpool

Roy Hodgson
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson will check on the fitness of Wayne Rooney and Edwin van der Sar ahead of Sunday's FA Cup tie at home to Liverpool FC.
Rooney suffered an ankle injury in the New Year’s Day win at West Brom, while Van der Sar has missed two games due to a flu virus.
Ferguson stated he is picking from the same squad he used over the Festive period, which rules out Paul Scholes (groin) and John O’Shea (calf), although new arrival Anders Lindegaard is available to bolster his goalkeeping ranks.
Under-pressure Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson is likely to make changes for the Old Trafford clash between the fierce rivals.
Daniel Agger will probably come into central defence to replace Sotirios Kyrgiakos after the 3-1 defeat at Blackburn, while left-back Paul Konchesky - who sustained a dead leg in Wednesday’s match at Ewood Park - is coming under pressure from Fabio Aurelio.
Dirk Kuyt could be recalled having been a substitute at Ewood Park, which would mean Joe Cole or Maxi Rodriguez missing out. Midfielder Raul Meireles, who missed the Blackburn game with an ankle injury, is fit again.
